This affordable BMW F650 tool kit (made by JourneyRider) comes with all of the common tools that a rider needs to do a roadside repair. The tools can be neatly stored in a durable 32 pocket tool roll for long trips. For short trips the most necessary tools can also be carried in the 12” x 7” durable bag that can be stowed under the f650’s seat.

The only item in the picture that is not included with the kit is the 9” Irwin vice grips. The reason they are not included is because some riders prefer to carry the added weight of individual wrenches so they can prevent scratching the heads of bolts. To me the practicality of vice grips outweighs individual wrenches but to each their own. No worries a good pair of vice grips or a set of wrenches on sale will only cost $10.

In 2007 I rode my f650 from Iowa to Argentina and experienced many of the problems that are unique to the bike. This kit was put together with the knowledge gained from that trip. A couple of common items are not found in my kit. They are pliers and vise grips/ wrenches. Other items like wire cutters, mini torches, and solder can also be added to the kit at the rider’s preference. With this kit the rider is receiving a large bulk discount by buying the tools all at once. He/she is also saving the time of having to figure out which tools they need and where to buy them.
